What's On - 2010

The shows are staged in Theatr Twm o'r Nant which is fully equipped with cinematic installation, an electric screen and a projector. Additional shows are presented periodically following requests from the community and on special festive occasions. The committee members of the club work closely with various departments of Denbighshire County Council, Denbigh Town Council, local schools and other local and national organisation, eg. the Film Council for Wales.

GRAN TORINO

2008 - USA - (Cert 15) - Director: Clint Eastwood - Drama


Clint Eastwood tells the story of a grizzled Korean War Vet's reluctant friendship with an Hmong teenage boy and his immigrant family, whilst dealing with the rise of Gang Violence in their neighbourhood.

The Minivers, an English "middle-class" family experience life in the first months of World War II. While dodging bombs, the Miniver's son courts Lady Beldon's granddaughter. A rose is named after Mrs. Miniver and entered in the competition against Lady Beldon's rose.
